Community Events and Liaison Officer
LC2 SCP 18-24 (£27,344 – £31,099 pro rata 20 hours a week)
We are looking for a Community Events and Liaison Officer to develop and deliver our
vibrant programme of annual events ranging from popular family events like our
Christmas Lights Switch On and New Year’s Eve events to our formal civic occasions
such as Remembrance Day and Thanksgiving Civic Service.
You will be responsible for events, whether part of the Council’s own programme of
town and civic events or working with our partners. You will be instrumental in
promoting the work of the Town Council by proactive marketing campaigns and
delivering engagement processes that positively build on the reputation of the Town
Council. You will be an expert source of advice to assist the Town Clerk in developing
the civic ceremonial traditions of the town and support the Town Mayor in carrying out their role.
The post would suit an energetic, outgoing individual who has experience and skills in
