Marathon Pilgrimage around the Minster

All being well and subject to no further changes arising as a result of the latest regulations from the Government on Saturday 10th July there will be an adventure fun day Event on the Minster Green in aid of the Minster Makes Music Appeal and in association with Chris Slocock  Walking 900 +

“We hope very much that this will be a day of adventure for the whole family”, said Chris who is behind the organisation of the day. The day will also celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Royal British Legion with Chris reaching 1500 laps of the Minster to mark the occasion

Opportunity for Young people to enjoy the adventure of a climbing Wall on the Green – Plus a Teddy Bear Zip Dive from the Minster Tower

Charity Stalls – Fun Activities

Food including Ice Creams/Cream Teas/ & Sandwiches

The Day will run from 10.00am until 4.00pm and will be opened by the Mayor Cllr Mrs Kelly Webb accompanied by Mel Gudger, Deputy Town Crier

The aim is to involve the whole town in a Day of Fun, Dorset Youth Marching Band have been booked and we hope the Community of Wimborne Minster will come out to support the Minster and The Minster Makes Music Appeal and Chris on his Pilgrimage

If you haven’t a teddy why not bring along kitties, doggies, bunnies or unicorns all are welcome to take part in the Zip Dive. We will have some stunt teddies available on the day.
