Whilst following Government guidance, Wimborne Minster Town Council, The Royal British Legion (Wimborne Branch) and The Minster marked Remembrance Sunday on the 8th November 2020 with a small wreath laying, for invitees only, to pay respects to the fallen and to remember the sacrifices of those from all nations, who fought and died.

Remembrance Sunday services are traditionally part of a communal worship. Due to lockdown restrictions this was not permitted. The Minster held a virtual service which took place before the small wreath laying at the war memorial on Minster Green.

The Town Mayor, Cllr Shane Bartlett and Royal British Legion President, Mr John Raymond each laid a wreath.
