Remembrance Sunday in Wimborne Minster will be commemorated this year with a Service in The Minster at 3.00pm on Sunday.
Due to restrictions, limited numbers of only 120 will be allowed to attend the Service in The Minster – so it has been decided that all places at the Service will be by “Invitation Only” from Wimborne Minster Town Council.
We have however, decided to reserve seating for 50 people, should any local residents wish to attend the Service. If you would like to attend please kindly add your name to the list which is displayed on the noticeboard in The Minster.
Unfortunately there will not be a Remembrance Parade to/from the Minster this year and the traditional wreath laying that takes place immediately after the service will be limited to a set amount of wreaths being laid.
All of the above has been decided so that a service for Remembrance Day can go ahead but making sure that each and everyone can be safe.
