CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19) INFORMATION

The Town Council is operating as normal with the exception of walk-in enquiries. If a face to face appointment is preferred we ask that you make a pre-arranged booking.  Enquiries and appointment bookings should be made either by email to office@wimborne.gov.uk or by telephoning 01202 881655.  Phone lines are manned during the hours of 9.30 am – 1 pm Monday to Friday.  Outside of these times you can leave a voice mail message.

Council and Committee meetings are being held virtually via Zoom and members of the public are welcome to join these remotely.  Further information can be found on the ‘Meetings’ page.

(No new room bookings are being taken at the moment other than for Civil Ceremonies).

Any care and safeguarding concerns, urgent food/meds requests – when no other support network is available, please contact Dorset COVID-19 Response Hub. Call 01305 221000, 8am to 8pm, 7 days a week or email communityresponse@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk

Age UK (North, South and West Dorset) are co-ordinating requests for help with issues relating to loneliness and isolation, or support in accessing items such as food, cash or medication. Call 01305 269444 or email enquiries@ageuknswd.org.uk.
