Originally from Liverpool, I moved to Wimborne with my wife and 2 children in 2018 after living in France during the previous 13 years. We were drawn to the area, due to the beautiful countryside and nearby coastline of the Jurassic Coast and fell in love with Wimborne when we were looking in the surrounding area for a place to start the next chapter of our lives. It was this love of the area and the community that prompted me to apply and be duly selected for one of the vacancies on the Town Council in the summer of 2021.
I have 30 + year’s experience working in Telecommunications and IT, delivering projects and programmes and I currently work in Cyber Security for one of the world’s leading Banks ensuring its technology infrastructure is secure and compliant against the ever increasing threat of cyber-attacks.
Outside of work I enjoy sport, I’m a devoted fan of my hometown football team Liverpool FC and I try and stay fit by hitting the gym most weekdays. My other passion is music and I love going to gigs and also play the guitar when I can in my spare time. Being so close to the coast we also love visiting the beaches with our paddleboards.
Since moving to the area I have always had a desire to become involved in the town in some capacity not only to protect what it has but also look to improve the facilities and services it has to offer, not only for it’s current inhabitants but future generations too.
