The Town Mayor’s Civic Thanksgiving Service

WIMBORNE MINSTER TOWN COUNCIL

ANNUAL CIVIC THANKSGIVING SERVICE

Annually the Town Mayor hosts a Civic Thanksgiving Service, to which all are welcome. This will be held in the Town’s historic Minster on Sunday 8th May 2022.

Cllr Kelly Webb the Town Mayor said: –

“The Town will be welcoming civic dignitaries from Dorset and neighbouring Town’s to the Minster and colours and standards from a number of local organisations will be presented during the service. A parade with all dignitaries participating will commence at 2.15-2.30pm from Church House, on to the High Street, turning into The Square, then turning into Church Street and entering The Cornmarket and onto the pathway to The Minster”

The service will be conducted by The Reverend Canon Andrew Rowland, Rector of Wimborne Minster Benefice Rural Dean of Wimborne.

Commencing at 3.00 pm, it is expected to last approximately 45 minutes, after which refreshments will be served at Church House.
