Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2021 in association with the charity BCHA

Now that the summer months are behind us, many of our thoughts are starting to turn to Christmas with excitement and joy. However, for many, this can be a very lonely and upsetting time of year.

This year The Town Mayor, Cllr Kelly Webb is actively supporting the charity BCHA and their ‘Respite Rooms’ initiative by collecting shoeboxes for vulnerable women fleeing domestic abuse and exploitation. BCHA aim to empower women to make positive and informed choices, by supporting them with their everyday needs.
