Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra Project Call-out

We are piloting a project starting in March 2022 for adults struggling with their mental health and wellbeing in and around Corfe Mullen, and potentially North Poole – the Feel-Good Friday Band. We are already working with GP practices to raise visibility but are keen to spread the word to the local community in any way we can.

Sessions are free of charge and led by specialist workshop leader Sam Mason and professional musicians from our Orchestra. People attending don’t need any musical experience and they will get the chance to talk, listen and make music alongside other participants and the musicians themselves. Live music and creativity in any guise is a really powerful tool in boosting ones wellbeing and mood, and we hope that the community feel to the sessions will be really valuable to people of all ages!
