175            CONFIRMATION OF PLANNING & ENVIRONMENT COMMITTEE HELD ON 4 DECEMBER 2012                                   

                                   

                        Referring to Min 166 (c) (Christchurch & East Dorset Core Strategy 2013-2028 - Proposed Changes), Cllr S K Bartlett reiterated the view that the District Council had been wrong still to include Leigh Park Playing Field in the Core Strategy when this Town Council as owner of the land had asked for it to be removed.

 

                        RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meeting be confirmed and adopted.

                                               

176                        EAST DORSET DISTRICT COUNCILLORS' REPORTS

                       

                        Cllr D G L Packer reported on the completion of the delegation                                     agreement between Dorset County Council and the District Council to                         allow licenses for sitting out on The Square.

177                        TOWN MAYOR’S REPORT

 

                        The Town Mayor thanked the Deputy Mayor and Deputy Mayoress for representing him and the Mayoress at recent events.

 

                        He also thanked those Members who had helped with collecting for the Mayor's charities at the switch on of the Christmas lights and asked for Members' assistance again at Carols in the Cornmarket on Friday 21 December 2012 and the Christmas Eve street collection on Monday 24 December 2012.

                        Cllr Mrs Roberts reported that the bratwurst stall in The Square during the switch on of the Christmas lights had been successful and had raised approximately £60 for the Mayor's charities.
