ACCESS (Min 22 - 29.05.12)
The Town Clerk submitted a report, a copy of which had been circulated to each Member and a copy of which appears as Appendix A to these Minutes in the Minute Book.
The report set out the history of this unauthorised access and the request by Mr Lonsdale of 9a Westfield Close, the responsible person, that the Town Council considers granting him a licence to retain it.
Mr Lonsdale attended the meeting and presented his case to Members.
The Town Clerk added that since the agenda had been prepared he would add two additional conditions if Members were minded to grant the licence.
RECOMMENDED that a licence to retain the access directly onto Redcotts Recreation Ground be granted to Mr D Lonsdale on the terms set out in the Town Clerk's report, together with two further conditions:
(i) that the agreement may be cancelled by either party with three months' notice;
(ii) that in addition to the requirement in condition (d) of the report on expiration of the licence the access shall be returned to its original state.

82 REDCOTTS RECREATION GROUND - SKATEBOARD RAMP (Min 284 - 24.04.12)
The Town Clerk submitted an email dated 7 August 2012 from the Gunstone Trust, a copy of which had been circulated to each Member and a copy of which appears as Appendix B to these Minutes in the Minute Book.
The Trust had asked if the Town Council would consider granting the Trust a lease of the footprint of the ramp to enable it to have access to additional grant aid.
RECOMMENDED that the granting of a lease to the Gunstone Trust as requested be approved in principle and the Town Clerk report back on the terms in due course.
83 RECREATION GROUNDS INSPECTION REPORT
The Town Clerk submitted a report, a copy of which was circulated to each Member at the meeting and a copy of which appears as Appendix C to these Minutes.
84 REDCOTTS RECREATION GROUND - OUTDOOR FITNESS STATION
The Town Clerk submitted an email enquiry dated 20 August 2012 from Mr & Mrs Steger-Lewis of Colehill, a copy of which had been circulated to each Member and a copy of which appears as Appendix D to these Minutes in the Minute Book.
They had asked if the Town Council had plans to modernise the play area in Redcotts Recreation Ground and if it could consider also installing fitness stations.
Verwood Town Council had installed recently six fitness stations as part of a partnership with 'Active Games for All' which funded the majority of the £15,000 cost.
Members were mindful of the lack of funds available, but it was their intention to refurbish the play area as soon as finance allowed. In the meantime, the equipment would be painted when the weather permitted.
RESOLVED
(a) that the Town Clerk obtain further information on the Active for All Partnership;
(b) that Mr & Mrs Steger-Lewis be informed of the Town Council's position on this issue.
