Councillor Mrs Susan Cook

Born and brought up in Broadstone, I moved to Wimborne Minster with my family 23 years ago. My son attended Wimborne First School and Allenbourn, two excellent examples of our local schools.

I have spent my working life locally in both the private and public sectors, including many years with the NHS. The experience gained in these areas has helped me to have a better understanding of the needs of the community.

I am involved with various local organisations including Wimborne in Bloom and the Wimborne Militia. I am also a Trustee of the Priest’s House Museum. As Mayoress in 2006 and 2008, I was able to use my organisational skills to help my husband raise over £12,000 for local charities.
